Devin Haney referred to himself as one “prey” In an interview today, Ryan spent most of his time talking about his fight against Garcia, saying he was “tricked” by his positive test for PEDs.

Haney seemed like he was trying to use Ryan's positive test to explain his defeat to convince fans why he was beaten last April.

It came off as if Devin was trying to whitewash his loss to erase the loss from the minds of fans, who sympathized with the “victims” of his fraudulent logic. He's better off moving on and focusing on the fight than continuing to talk about the PED angle. Fans see Haney playing the victim, trying to deflect from taking the blame for not putting up a better fight against Ryan.

I'm just wondering Honey does magic In terms of excuses if he loses his two fights to Jose Ramirez in May 2025 and Ryan Garcia in October. Will Devin plead guilty or come up with a reason to beat her up?

Haney's Pursuit of Greatness

Haney says he wants to show the boxing world “how great” he is, which is funny because he wasn't seen as “great” even before his loss to Garcia. Devin's win over Vasily Lomachenko was controversial in the eyes of many fans, who saw it as a robbery. Haynie looked equally bad, getting stopped repeatedly in his fight against 35-year-old Jorge Linares on May 29, 2021.

If you remove Hany's questionable win over Lomachenko, his resume is paper-thin, with no quality wins. You can't count Kambossos out as quality because he was a regular run-of-the-mill fighter until his upset against Teofimo Lopez.

Kambossos' record is 1-3 in his last four fights. He should be 0-4 as his one win in the last three years was a controversial 12-round majority decision against Maxie Hughes.

“They want to see if I'm the same Devin or a better Devin. He (Ryan) also has question marks. He wants to see the world while he's off PEDs. Just from my experience, knowing how important it is to be in that ring and to be on a level playing field, being cheated on.

“I want to be an advocate for clean athletes in general, especially in boxing. We are taking punishment there. What better time (to take the stand) than when you see a guy (Ryan Garcia) cheat and get suspended. This is the biggest moment in boxing. The whole world saw it. I think what better time than now,” said Haney.
