“One of the most exciting things we're working on — again using tools that Sam and Masa provided — is our cancer vaccine,” Ellison said at a press conference with Trump in the Roosevelt Room of the White House on Tuesday.
Ellison said early detection of cancer could be provided with a simple blood test, and artificial intelligence could be used to look at the blood test and find cancers that seriously threaten someone's health.
“Furthermore, once we sequence the gene of that cancer tumor, you can vaccinate that person, design a vaccine for each individual person to vaccinate against that cancer,” Ellison said. “And you can do that vaccine, that mRNA vaccine, robotically redo it using artificial intelligence in about 48 hours.”
