PBC today announced the Garvonta Davis vs. Lamont Roach undercard for their March 1st card at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The event will be shown live on Prime Video PPV on PBV.
Some fans call the prize on the undercard 'The Mexican Loma,' Jose 'Rayo' Valenzuela defends against Gary Antoine Russell in what is interesting enough to be the main event of this card.
Spain's Sandor Martin was a raw deal when he fought Teofimo Lopez at New York's Madison Square Garden three years ago. He lost a 10-round split decision in a fight that many boxing fans believed he won on December 10, 2022. The judges gave it to the New Yorker, TO, but the boxing public saw it as an old-fashioned hometown decision. Even Teofimo knew he would lose, for he was heard to say, 'Have I got it yet?'
“I'm here to show the world what it means to be great,” said Jose 'Rayo' Valenzuela. “Bring me your fiercest, and I will bring back their heads. On March 1st I will win against Gary Antoine Russell and cement my legacy in the super lightweight division. Don't miss it, because I'm making sure everyone knows where I stand at 140 pounds.”
