Some people are spending tens of thousands of dollars to be in the nation's capital when President-elect Trump and Vice President Vance are sworn in.

The Watergate Hotel In Washington, D.C., “Commemorating the 60th Inauguration of the President of the United States,” offered a package with a starting price of $73,500 before tax.

The package at the five-star luxury hotel, whose name is synonymous with one of the biggest political scandals in US history, is not only sold, but also non-refundable and non-cancellable.

It does not include a ticket to Monday's ceremony, when Trump will be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States.

Upon arrival, they will be chauffeured in an armored Mercedes-Maybach. According to the hotel's website, the package also includes overnight accommodations in the presidential suite, as well as a “Presidential Welcome Service” featuring custom wax-sealed stationery and a vintage Watergate crystal.

Guests will also be able to enjoy a private tasting of the Royal Select Whiskey Menu with the Watergate Hotel's Whiskey Consul.
