Monday's official cherry bouquets of Japan confirmed the first flowering of the country's favorite flower, announcing the official start of the holiday season in the Japanese capital.

An official from the Japanese Meteorological Agency carefully studied the sample of the diversity of the Jasucho's sanctuary in Tokyo and stated that the minimum required for the statement was flourished on it.

The opening matched the average year and compared to last year, it was five days later than JMA.

Cherry Blossoms or Sakura is Japan's favorite flower and usually reaches their peak in late March, as the country marks the beginning of the new school and the work year. Many Japanese people enjoy walking under the trees or a picnic.

Sakura has been deeply influenced by Japanese culture and has been used regularly in poetry and literature, their fragility has been considered a symbol of life, death and rebirth.

The announcement in Tokyo, which enjoys warmer than the usual temperature at 19 C, comes from the first cherry flower bloom after Sunday, calling in the city, on a Shikoku island.

JMA follows more than 50 benchmark with cherry trees across the country. Trees usually bloom every year about two weeks, from the first bead to all the flowers that fall. It is planned that they will reach their peak in about 10 days.

Cherry trees are sensitive to temperature changes, and their flourishing period can provide valuable data for climate change studies.

In recent years, Japan's cherry flower season has come earlier than as soon as the average prompting the possible impact of climate change.
