On Saturday, US President Donald Trump said he had ordered military airstrikes by the Senior Islamic State Association, Somalia in Somalia.

“These killers, who have found hidden in the caves, have threatened the United States and our allies,” Trump said in a statement in truth. “The strikes destroyed the caves they live, and killed many terrorists without harming civilians.”

Saturday strikes were carried out in the Gold Mountains, said the Minister of Defense Pete Hegchet, who added that the preliminary assessment indicates numerous operators. He said that no civilians did not harm.

In the Somali presidential office, an official, talking about anonymity, confirmed the strikes and said that the Somali government welcomed the move.

“Somali cannot be a safe haven for terrorists,” said the official, adding that the impact of strikes is still being assessed.

The hegs said that the strikes destroy the ability of the Islamic State to “defend and implement terrorist attacks”, threatening the United States, its partners and innocent civilians.

“(That) sends a clear signal that the United States is always ready to find the terrorists threatening the United States and our allies, as it presides over stable border protection,” he said.

The United States has regularly carried out airstrikes in Somalia, a Republican and Democratic administration for years.

The strike, which also targeted the Islamic State Funers, carried out the United States in cooperation with Somalia last year. It killed three members of the group, the US Armed Forces reported.
