Terence Crawford told Garvonta Davis at X to “stop being scared” and take on Shakur Stevenson and Keeshon Davis. These two are close friends with Crawford, so it makes sense that he's trying to shame Tank Davis into fighting them.

Keyshawn has no fanbase and looks terrible against Miguel Madueno and Nahir Albright. He showed no interest in the Cuban War Andy CruzThat whipped him four times in the amateurs and makes him look bad at the 2020 Olympics. Tank is not going to help Crawford's gym-mate, Keeshon.

Crawford tries to get to Garvonta after trashing him on X, saying,

“You really think he (Crawford) is chasing greatness. he is not This is what he has to do to earn decent money.”

Tank Davis talks about Terrence chasing paychecks, not greatness against Canelo Alvarez in Saudi Arabia. It's more about retirement money for Crawford. If he really lived up to his legacy, he would have moved to 168 and proven himself first instead of begging for a fight.

Crawford has been telling fans that his rationale for moving up two weight divisions to challenge unified super middleweight champion Canelo is for “legacy” purposes to be great, but Davis sees it as purely money-based.

That's what Crawford has to do to make money because he can't sell. Crawford's last fight against Israel Madrimov reportedly drew 75,000 to 100,000 buys. These are terrible numbers. Crawford never drew a PPV like Tank Davis.

Lightweight contender Keyshawn Davis (12-0, 8 KOs) shares the same trainer with 'Bud' Crawford. They are both coached by Brian 'Bomac' McIntyre.

Tanks won't do a battle boring Shakur Stevenson (22-0, 10 KOs) because he's not a marketable fighter and will weigh less for the promotion. Gervonta will bring in all the PPV buys, and Shakur will be there. Shakur is a boring fighter that people don't want to see.

I still don't know why Eddie Hearn signed Shakur and thought he could turn him into a “global star”. This is not happening in the US

Maybe Haran will make Shakur a star in the UK as their entertainment quality seems low. That's why fighters like Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr. are so popular there. They could never become stars in the US
