Ryan Garcia posted his reaction to X being ambushed by Bill and Devin Haney at the Ring Awards in London last Saturday night. Haney confronted Garcia as he left, and Bill barked, “You're kidding.”

It's clear that Bill and Devin are desperate for a rematch with Garcia because it's the biggest payday available for Dev, and he needs to avenge his embarrassing beating by Kingery last April in front of a packed Barclays Center Arena in Brooklyn, NY. York

Haney's options aren't that good if he can't get a rematch with Ryan. Turki Al-Sheikh will want Devin to fight someone with talent, and if the guy has power, he can break. A loss for Haynie would permanently ruin his chances of a rematch with Garcia, and you can wonder how the Turk views him next. He may overstay his welcome with another loss.

Garcia said Bill and Devin would have to drop their case against him to have any chance of negotiating a fight. So far, they have not done this. So, it's unclear why Hannis continues to discuss seeing a rematch with Ryan as a “priority” in 2025.

Garcia says it's not just the lawsuit that stands in the way of a rematch with Garcia. They have to agree to a different drug testing agency because Kingry refuses to use VADA. He feels it “of fish” Bill is pushing so hard for that organization, and he's suspicious.
