Devin Haney has reportedly dropped his lawsuit against Ryan Garcia, and Kingry has agreed to use VADA as the drug testing agency for the rematch. As such, the second fight is now going on between the two. However, it has not been officially announced yet.

Case dropped

Journalist Cynthia Conte broke the news, and Haney posted her response, saying Ryan wasn't a “duck” because he agreed to her terms. The two fighters met with Turki Al-Sheikh last Saturday, supposedly to discuss a rematch.

Conte said Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) dropping his case was conditional on Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) agreeing to VADA, which he has now done. No word on if it will be fought at a catchweight, when or where it will happen. Haney said in an interview last Saturday that his next fight will be at 143 or 144.

Haney, 26, and his father, Bill, really want this fight. They need this match to regain their credibility after their complete destruction of the previously undefeated two-division world champion Ryan on April 20th.

Going into the fight, many thought Ryan had gone crazy due to his strange behavior. He acted as if he was ready to take her Bellevue Mental HospitalAnd he completely fooled everyone with his work. It was perfect acting by Ryan.

When he got in the ring, he immediately stunned Haney with a left hook in the first round and beat him like a drum. In the last four rounds of the fight, it looked like Ryan purposely let Haney live so he could continue beating him senseless. It was hard to see.

Last April, Ryan upset Haney, beating him in a 12-round majority decision at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Haney was knocked out three times in the fight, once in the 7th, 10th and 11th. Scores were 114-110, 115-109.

Garcia accepts the terms
