Gervonta 'Tank' Davis taunted Teofimo Lopez, responding to his skit on Friday. Teofimo played the role of a street man on the sidewalk, holding a begging cup and trying to take money from passers-by. He wants to get out of his contract with Top Rank because he feels that he is not making big money.

An old post by Davis showed Lopez that he would be the “highest paid” fighter in the lightweight division. That never happened. He moved up a weight class, and he didn't make as much money at 140 as Tank and Ryan Garcia.

Teofimo seems sad because he wants to leave the top spot because he thinks he can make more money by fighting with another promoter.

Teofimo was defeated by George Kambossos, who was involved in two controversial fights that many fans believe he should have lost and looked poor. Lopez is now trying to get out of his contract with Top Rank to fight on the Riyadh card to join other promoters making big money fighters.

Changing promoters probably won't help Teofimo. His main problem is his lack of talent and mental toughness to beat the best. The loss to Kambossos proved Lopetegui's inability to cope under pressure.

Lopez's fights with Jamain Ortiz, Sandor Martin and Steve Clagett reinforced the belief that he was not equipped to fight at a high level. He should have lost to Jaime and Sandor in the eyes of the fans.

Ryan has a net worth of $50 millionAnd he never won a world title. Tank also made a lot of money. It doesn't look like Teofimo will ever get the kind of dough that Davis and Garcia have made. He has not been consistent enough in his career since 2021 and his performance is getting worse.
