Former president and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Jimmy Carter has died at the age of 100

Former US President Jimmy Carter, who redefined the post-presidential era and won the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to resolve international conflicts, has died at the age of 100, the Carter Center said on Sunday.

Carter “died peacefully at his home in Plains, Georgia on Sunday, December 29, surrounded by his family.
